Australian Landfill & Transfer Stations Conference and Expo

EC Sustainable will send a delegation of its staff to the Australian Landfill & Transfer Stations Conference and Expo being held from 27-30 July 2015 at National Convention Centre in Canberra.

The Australian Landfill & Transfer Stations Conference and Expo is organised by the Waste Management Association of Australia (WMAA) and is in its 6th year. This year’s program will include:

– international and national keynote presentations
– two comprehensive workshops on leachate management and prevention/management of fires in waste handling
– technical tours
– concurrent streams on topics such as: landfill planning/development and approvals
– transfer station operations and developments
– improving rural operations and facilities
– stakeholder engagement
